I have owned a lot of toothbrushes. A Sonicare I babied for years, an Oral-B before that, and more recently one of those cheap U-shaped brushes that promised the world for forty dollars. So when my feed filled up with people arguing about which smart toothbrush is actually worth it, I did the obvious thing: I bought the four everyone kept naming and used each one for about a month.
I judged them on the things I actually care about at six in the morning: how clean my mouth felt afterward, how little effort it took, whether I kept using it after the novelty wore off, and what my next dental cleaning was like. I tried to be fair. Three of these are genuinely good brushes. But one of them changed my routine in a way the others simply did not, and the ranking below reflects that honestly.
The final verdict
Three of these are good brushes, and if you love your Sonicare or Oral-B there is no reason to feel bad about it. But after a month with each, the Feno Smartbrush was the clear winner — it got my mouth cleaner, in a fraction of the time, and it is the only one that actually changed how often I brush.
It is the most expensive brush here, and it asks for a few days of patience up front. For me, an easier dental cleaning and a routine I stopped dreading made that trade an easy one.
